David Jackson

Visiting Assistant Professor of Religion Religion & Philosophy

A native of Knoxville, TN, David attended Emory & Henry as an undergraduate from 1989-1993. After receiving his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee, David felt called to United Methodist Ministry.  He completed his Master’s Degree in Divinity from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University and has been serving as a United Methodist minister ever since.  David returned to E&H in 2008 as the pastor of the Emory and Meadowview congregations and as an adjunct faculty member at the College.  David teaches classes for the Religion Department and in the Core Curriculum.  He is married to Cindy (E&H 1994), the vice-principal at Meadowview Elementary, and has two children, Elly and Elijah.
