Jessica Denniston

Clinical Assistant Professor of Equine Studies Equine Studies

Jessica Denniston holds a Masters of Education in Equestrian Education, along with being a graduate of Virginia Intermont College with a B.A. in Equine Studies. While at VIC she minored in Equine Assisted Growth and Learning and is now an EAGALA certified equine specialist. Denniston joins the Intermont Equestrian faculty after coaching at the collegiate level for the past six years in Georgia. Prior to her time in Georgia, she worked as an assistant trainer to a USDF bronze medalist preparing young horses for registry inspections, helping start young horses and taking young horses on first outings to shows and clinics. She then went on to teach a variety of levels of riders in the hunter, equitation and dressage arenas in a program outside of the DC area.
