Teaching

Keith Cottrill is currently the Assistant Director of Bands and Professor of Music for Emory and Henry College in Emory, Virginia. Keith is in his 25th year of teaching. At Emory and Henry, he directs the Marching Band, Basketball Pep Band, Symphonic Band, Brass Ensemble, and Low Brass Ensemble. He also teaches Conducting, Instrumental Methods, Brass Methods, Theory 1, Intro to Music Education, Elementary Methods, Applied Tuba and Euphonium, and plays tuba in the Emory and Henry Faculty Brass Quintet.

Professional Experience

Keith is a sought-after adjudicator and clinician for both marching and concert festivals.
