Daria Walsh

Director, Prospect Research and Prospect Management

Daria serves as Director of Prospect Development and Prospect Research in the Advancement Office. She brings more than thirty years of experience in the fundraising and nonprofit worlds, especially in Higher Education. Starting out at Princeton University’s Development Office for twenty years, she experienced two successful capital campaigns there, and learned the in’s and out’s of Prospect Research.

Daria has been a long-time member of the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement (APRA), and attended six national conferences bringing together prospect researchers from all over the country. She served as Vice President of her local chapter, Prospect Researchers of Eastern Pennsylvania (now called APRA Pennsylvania), and has co-presented at several local conferences on the topics of research and prospect management.

Daria obtained an A.A. in Legal Secretarial Science from Bucks County Community College in Newtown, Pennsylvania. A B.S. in Administrative Management from The College of New Jersey in Ewing, New Jersey, and studied for a Master’s Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Baypath University. She also took two Master’s level teaching courses at Cairn University in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, and a Master’s level writing course at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. Daria has a special love for writing and studies content marketing and copywriting.
