Brandon Stevens

Assistant Director of Athletics Communications Athletics

Brandon Stevens is the Assistant Director for Athletic Communication. He is responsible for all broadcast streams of sanctioned athletic events held at Emory & Henry. He captures, edits, and produces any video and photographs for use by the athletic department. As well as helping run and maintain the Emory & Henry Athletics Department social media pages. 

 

Before joining the Emory & Henry family Brandon worked at WJHL-TV in Johnson City, Tennessee as a Newscast Director. During his time at WJHL-TV Brandon learned much about the television and broadcasting industries. As a shift lead Brandon helped train several new directors and set an example of excellence for everyone around him. Also during his time at WJHL-TV Brandon directed and produced several high school football games for live television broadcast as well as countless on-site productions of the morning variety show Daytime Tri-Cities. 

 

In 2018, Brandon worked for Colossus TV during the Bristol Spring race. Brandon was apart of a videography team that traversed the Colosseum capturing all of the non-stop action of Bristol Motor Speedway. 

 

While Brandon was an undergrad at ETSU, Brandon was an active member on campus. He was involved in the production of Division I athletic events as part of the Buccaneer Sports Network. Brandon ran cameras, cables, audio, commercials, and dabbled in directing during his time working at ETSU. He also was a crew member on the campus news program Buc-TV News, where he ran cameras and graphics. Brandon also worked as a manager in the weekly student ran talk show Spotlight ETSU. There he again helped with cameras, and came up with guests and new show ideas. Brandon was Vice President of the Media and Communications fraternity Alpha Sigma Iota. 

 

Outside of work Brandon is an avid disc golfer, video gamer, and sports fanatic. Brandon supports the Pittsburgh Steelers, Boston Celtics, Tampa Bay Rays, and Pittsburgh Penguins. Brandon is a native of Tazewell, Tennessee. He now resides in Chilhowie, Virginia.
