Monica Hoel

Alumni Director Alumni and Advancement

Monica is a 1985 graduate of Emory & Henry College, finishing with a B.A. in English and a concentration in religion. She has worked at Emory & Henry since 1985 and has served as the Alumni Director for the College since 1991.

Her community activities have included serving as co-chair of the Washington County Va. Relay For Life event and serving as president of the Virginia Highlands Festival. She is currently serving as a board member and Basic Training Class coordinator for the Holston Rivers Chapter of Virginia Master Naturalist.

The only thing she loves more than bird-watching is seeing Emory & Henry alumni succeed in the world and stay in touch with friends.
