Amanda Davis (formerly Surber) is the Administrative Assistant for Counseling Services at Emory & Henry College. Originally from Saltville, Virginia and a first-generation college student, Amanda is an alumnus of East Tennessee State University and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Amanda has worked for over six years in various education positions. She has worked as an English instructor, tutor, Scoring Director for K-12 level testing, and most recently with Admissions Outreach for E&H.

With their experience, Amanda hopes to provide a welcoming, comforting and supportive space for all students and anyone visiting Counseling Services.

I can help with:

Scheduling appointments with counseling services and providing assistance to students who visit the center who may be in crisis. Please reach out via email or phone if you would like to schedule an appointment with counseling services, contact timelycare for virtual care that is available 24/7, or come see us in Counseling Services on the second floor of Wiley on the E&H main campus in Suite 220.
