Blurbs

What are blurbs and what can I use them for?

Blurbs are exactly what it sounds like–it’s a chunk of content that doesn’t necessarily need the full attention of a dedicated page of information.

What can you do with blurbs?

Here are some of the most common uses for blurbs on the Emory & Henry website:

Blurbs are also useful when you have multiple policies to add to your page.

Research Abstracts

Every departmental page has the ability to add a custom “Research Abstract” blurb displayed with the title “Student Research” on their main landing pages. It’s is a great way to display a quick snippet of information about the work our students are doing!

Generally, this widget is automatically displayed as the default in the departmental page template and will randomly display if you have more than one added.

You can see an example of how this blurb is displayed on the page below.
