This is more than “which classes you take”

It’s about experiencing transformation, finding new connections, and life-changing opportunities in the world and inside yourself. The Emory & Henry College Honors Program strives to build an unparalleled environment for the people who want to build and challenge themselves and the world around them.

The program is designed to challenge students to think critically, logically, and creatively so that they can not only do their best work but also use what they’ve learned to help better the world around them.

This culminates with an Honors Thesis, an extensive senior project that allows students the opportunity to pursue an in-depth exploration of an area of interest with the guidance of faculty mentors.

Investing in You

Honors students receive the highest merit scholarship available to incoming students, as well as a stipend to spend on academic resources.

Additionally, honors students have access to plenty of other benefits including early course registration, Honors housing, funding for study abroad opportunities, advising and support for travel to conferences.
