E&H in the City

Nationwide with Locations from Maryland to California

Posted July 05, 2023

E&H in the City 2023 was successful because many alumni agreed to serve as coordinators. Thanks are in order to everyone who set up Facebook pages, reserved locations and served as charming hosts! You can see a link to photos from the big night, March 31, 2023, at www.ehc.edu/ehcity.

We’re already lining up volunteers for the event in 2024, so let us know if you’d like to get involved. Email the E&H Alumni Office at alumni@ehc.edu to get involved.

    Broady Honored

At the 175th annual Emory & Henry commencement ceremony, Arthur “Scrapper” Broady, ’70, was honored with the William and Martha DeFriece Award. One of Broady’s most notable achievements is his creation of the “Friends of Copey.” Now in its tenth year, the Friends provides opportunities for E&H students to teach in Copey, Costa Rica, and for students in Copey to visit the U.S. each summer. Broady’s motto is: “Whatever I do, I want to make a difference.”
