Tracks to Engineering School
The bachelor’s degree program is completed in cooperation with a selected engineering school. Course work is optimized to maximize chances of successful acceptance into an engineering program.
Four possibilities:
Transfer:
Two or three years at Emory & Henry followed by two or three years at an engineering school, leading to an engineering degree. See the Transfer Requirements page for more information.
4:2 track:
four years at E&H followed by two years at an engineering school, leading to degrees from both institutions.
3:2 track:
For highly qualified students, three years at E&H followed by two years at an engineering school, leading to degrees from both institutions.
E&H undergrad:
complete an undergraduate degree at Emory & Henry followed by a graduate degree at an engineering school.
Although the program is oriented primarily to students in the physical sciences, a combined degree program in certain fields is available to students from the life sciences, behavioral sciences, and humanities.
The basic engineering program is intended to prepare you for any of the engineering fields, providing the fundamental coursework for the fields of chemical, civil, electrical, electronic, or mechanical engineering.
- Students interested in pursuing biomedical engineering take additional courses in biology and/or chemistry.
- Students interested in project or systems engineering should take additional courses in management.
