Main Floor

Denham Poetry Collection Area

Located on the main floor, this area houses a gift of over 2,000 poetry books donated by former E&H English faculty member Robert Denham. Feel free to browse through these volumes, and enjoy some poetry. This area can also be used for individual study. Capacity: 6

Second Floor

Emory & Henry Room

Located on the second floor of the library, the Emory & Henry Room is currently not available due to social distancing.

Emory & Henry Alcove

This alcove outside the Emory & Henry Room is available for individual study. Capacity: 5

Bishop Hunt Library and Research Room

This room houses the personal library of former E&H president Bishop Earl Gladstone Hunt Jr. It is currently not available due to social distancing.

Individual Study Rooms

Four small study rooms are located on the second floor of the library. These rooms are available by reservation or on a first-come, first-served basis. To reserve, please call 276-944-6208.  Capacity: 1

Naylor Room

This study room includes a television and DVD player. The room is available by reservation or on a first-come, first-served basis. To reserve, please call 276-944-6208. Capacity: 1

Ground Floor

McGowan Lab

This facility on the ground floor is outfitted with 20 computers, network connections and
projection equipment. To reserve email Library Help. 

Kelly Lab

This is an open computer lab with 24 workstations.
