Art Department Scholarship Form

Emory & Henry College Art Department awards performance-based scholarships for incoming first-year and transfer students. These scholarships are based on a portfolio review, application, and interview.

To be eligible for the scholarship please fill out the following form and submit your portfolio.

Portfolio Requirements

6-12 Images (or pieces) any media

These can be presented as original objects when the student is interviewing in person.
Each entry should be formatted to be approximately 8 inches by 10 inches (no taller than 8 inches, no wider than 10 inches), 300 dpi and saved with a file name in the following format. Please try to get images close to 10 MB if possible.

Students should also submit an image master list, which includes:

Artist’s name
Title of the work
Media
High School, City, State
Art teacher’s name
Size (framed) H x W x D

The portfolio should contain the student’s best work; reflect a range of abilities, interests, and concepts, demonstrate skill in a variety of media and demonstrate an ability to draw from real objects.
