May is Asian American/Pacific Islander Heritage Month, Mental Health Awareness Month & Jewish American Heritage Month
Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month is a time to uplift and celebrate Asian, Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander voices, encourage self-education for non-AAPI individuals, and offer support to the AAPI community. The AAPI communities have a rich heritage thousands of years old and have both shaped the history of the United States and had their lives dramatically influenced by moments in its history. The Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion stands with the AAPI community and celebrates the deep connections AAPI individuals have to all facets of American history.
