Cyndi Jennings Named 2022 E&H Alumni Award Honoree

Posted by Monica Hoel
Cyndi Jennings, Emory & Henry Class of 1991, has been named the 2022 recipient of the Fred Selfe Distinctive Service to Emory & Henry Award.

Cyndi Jennings has been a loyal and trustworthy volunteer for the E&H Alumni Office for many years. Cyndi served on the E&H Alumni Board for six years, representing the Roanoke Valley. She assisted with the annual Faculty/Staff Social sponsored in the fall to welcome back college employees, and organized kids activities for children of staff and faculty members. She has welcomed new students to campus on their first day on campus. She has been the backbone of E&H in the City events in Roanoke.

She attends reunions, homecomings, and athletic events. She supports the college as a cheerleader, fundraiser, and recruiter.

In short, Cyndi never says no when she is asked to serve her alma mater.

The Fred Selfe Distinctive Service to Emory & Henry award is granted annually to pay tribute to those who would spend volunteer time in support of the College. See other honorees here.
