E&H alumni and friends have enjoyed outdoor events as a way to gather in a setting that feels healthier. Birding events have been scheduled in a variety of locations such as this one in Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens in Richmond, Va.
Keynote speakers included Lydia X. Z. Brown, a disability justice advocate, organizer, educator, attorney, strategist, and writer; Jibreel Khazan (Ezell Blair, Jr.) the last surviving member of the Greensboro Four and graduate of Howard University Law School in Washington, DC and Massachusetts University in Dartmouth; and Jenna Lyn, M.D., MHA Ballad Health.
School of Business Sponsors Business Challenge Entrepreneur Award
As part of the 2022 Washington County Business Challenge, Emory & Henry College, for the fourth time, is sponsoring an award. The E&H Entrepreneur Award is $5,000 and includes the opportunity to send three employees of the organization to Emory & Henry’s Small Business Growth program. Worth $3,000, the program provides entrepreneurship education that sets the standard for excellence in connecting purposeful liberal arts with transformative business knowledge.
