Erica Crabtree to pursue a career in education

Our Emory & Henry seniors are preparing to graduate and change the world.

Erica Crabtree of Damascus, Va. will receive a master’s degree in education.

Erica will graduate with the class of 2023. In addition to her studies in education and interdisciplinary math, Crabtree is also a member of Delta Omicron Pi and Blue Key. She was the manager of the women’s basketball team. “Attending Emory and Henry was one of the best decisions I have made. The memories, friends, and experiences I have made while at Emory & Henry has set me up for success,” Crabtree said. “I was given the opportunity to experience the field of education in multiple ways to ensure I am prepared for my own classroom. I am so thankful that I’m walking away with the best tools and the biggest support system that I will carry with me throughout my career.”

“I plan to stay in the area to teach and coach at one of the local elementary schools,” Crabtree said.
