Justine South to attend law school

Our Emory & Henry seniors are preparing to graduate and change the world.

Justine South of King George, Va. will receive a bachelor’s degree in political science.

South will graduate with the class of 2023. “Emory & Henry has offered me an education that I will truly value. I feel as though this institution has provided me with learning skills that I will carry on throughout my education and professional life,” said South. She has been involved with Housing and Residence Life, Greek Life, Student Government, Pre Law Society and the Emory Activities Board.

South intends to attend law school following a gap year spent studying for the LSAT and interning at Hilldrup. “Emory & Henry has prepared me for success with help from the career center. The individuals in the career center have helped me with my post-graduation plans and are a resource that I have used throughout my time at college,” said South.

South is a first-generation college student.

Cherish these years. I am fortunate enough to be graduating a year early and I can’t express the bittersweet feeling of being done with college but also leaving my close friends behind. However many years you will have here will fly by so make sure you make the most of your time here!
