The Golden Age of Broadway Graces Stage
Emory& Henry’s Department of Theatre presented Jerry’s Girls on Nov. 8 through 11, on the Kennedy~Reedy Theatre stage. A delight for those who enjoy songs from the Golden Age of Broadway, the show included selections of popular Broadway tunes by critically acclaimed composer Jerry Harmon, some from the musical Hello Dolly! which won him two Tony awards.
As a special treat, a pre-show performance was held in the Center lobby was decked out for a cabaret during receptions before each of the evening shows. The revue features spectacle-driven dance routines with high production choreography. The production was directed by Rachel Black with Annalee Tull as director of choreography.
