I teach Introductory Spanish classes in the World Languages Department. I have undergraduate degrees in both Business and Nursing, and a Masters Degree in Spanish.

Teaching
Prior to coming to Emory & Henry, I founded and managed a migrant health outreach program in southwest Virginia. My interests include the study of foreign language acquisition and best teaching practices for beginning Spanish students as well as the teaching of career Spanish for professionals including health care personnel.
Professional Experience
Prior to E&H, I served as a medical interpreter, an ESL teacher, and an RN in Intensive Care and Emergency Departments.
