Ian Graham
Ian will be attending the Materials Science & Engineering program at Georgia Tech to pursue his Ph.D. He is interested in studying advanced materials used in photovoltaic or energy storage devices. Ian has been designated a Presidential Fellow at Georgia Tech which recognizes his standing in the top 10 percent of the applicants for the fellowship.
During his time at Emory & Henry, Ian studied the effect of intermetallic formation on the electro-mechanical properties of Au/Sn multilayers. Ian presented his work at the NIMBioS conference during his junior year. For the summer of his junior year, Ian was accepted into NYU’s Materials Science & Engineering REU program but was unable to attend due to COVID restrictions.
