Bendsondy Pierre
Bendsondy Pierre of Les Cayemites, Haiti is coming into his third year at Emory & Henry College. Pierre is studying English, French and Spanish as academic majors. He has worked as a resident assistant at Russell House, the College’s international community residence hall and he played soccer for the Emory & Henry College men’s soccer team.
In addition to his busy academic career and life on campus, Pierre completed an education internship in Peru during the summer of 2022. Pierre intends to follow his passion for education following his return to Haiti to offer his service to the nonprofit organization UMEPAM which provides the children of Les Cayemites with educational materials, food and clothing.
Pierre created a thank you video following his successful and fulfilling internship in Peru.
Pierre is a first-generation college student.
