Rakeem Rutherford

Rakeem comes to us with more than 8 years of experience in recreation, coaching and programming, having served as Recreation Supervisor for Mt. View Recreation Center in his hometown of Morganton, NC, and most recently as Police Athletic League Program Coordinator for the City of Lakeland, FL recreation department.

Rakeem is a two-time graduate of Emory & Henry College earning his B.A. in Sport Management in 2011 and M.A. in Community & Organizational Leadership in 2013. As a Wasps football player, Rakeem was a starter and All ODAC Honorable Mention at Free Safety and was selected as a team captain for his senior season.
