Sarah Savona

Sarah Savona of Rockville, Md. graduated on May 7, 2022, with bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Chemsitry. Savona was a supplemental instructor and lab assistant and was involved with Tri-Beta as the Vice President and American Chemical Society as the Treasurer.

Savona will attend Stony Brook University in New York to pursue further education after graduating from Emory & Henry College. She will be earning her Ph.D. in Medicinal Inorganic Chemistry from Stony Brook University seeking a position in the field of toxicology. “I love how collaborative and interdisciplinary the STEM programs are at Emory & Henry,” Savona said. “Classes are designed to make students well-rounded both in the classroom and the lab.”
