Marley Sterling

Marley Sterling, ’24, is studying at the Emory & Henry School of Nursing to receive her Bachelor of Science of Nursing (BSN). Sterling is an Alpha Beta Chi sister and sweetheart to Pi Delta Chi. “With the School of Nursing adapting a program-wide business casual dress code, I am set up for success on how to carry myself in the professional setting. Allowing us to complete classes, labs, and simulations on the health science campus creates an interprofessional learning environment for a smooth transition into postgraduate working environments,” said Sterling.

Sterling, from Wise, Va., intends to pursue a career in nursing following her graduation but also expects that she will return to Emory & Henry to continue her education and earn her Master of Science of Nursing (MSN). “I plan to practice as a nurse in either oncology, labor and delivery, or pediatrics. I want to return to Emory & Henry and get my master’s in nursing and practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I have received a job offer from the hospital where I work as a nurse intern,” said Sterling.
