Kiera Pugalee
Kiera Pugalee of Tazewell, Va. is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science major with minors in Dance, Spanish and Biology. Pugalee is active on campus in a number of roles, including the Golden Stingers Dance Team, Delta Omicron Pi, Pre-Health Club, Spiritual Life, New Student Experience and Sigma Delta Pi. “Emory & Henry has been great about giving students a well-rounded education,” Pugalee said. “A liberal arts education gives me the opportunity to see the world through a different lens and from multiple perspectives. By diving deeper I feel ready to approach our changing world.” Pugalee has also furthered her education by becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
“I plan to attend a Masters of Physician Assistant program and become a Physician Assistant (PA). I’d love to specialize and be able to come back to Southwest Virginia to help my community,” Pugalee said.
