Q: What advice would you give to first-year Honors Scholars?
A: Don’t be afraid to fail. Try, try, try and try again. It may be frustrating, but the Honors Program will give you the tools to overcome those obstacle and learn from each failed attempt. As Thomas Edison once said, “Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.” You are closer than you think, just keep pushing through.
