Ampersand Ambassadors

Ampersand Ambassadors are student hosts for Ampersand Day 2020 on April 24th, and represent Ampersand and Emory & Henry College at other events during the year.

Ambassadors share their accomplishments and represent Emory & Henry College at public events, gaining leadership and public speaking skills and meeting and networking with alumni, donors, community members and many others. Apply here! Applications are accepted throughout the year.

*Please note that students may both present at Ampersand Day and serve as an Ampersand Ambassador. It is possible (and encouraged) to do both!*

Other Ambassador opportunities include participating in:

  • Ampersand Center events throughout the year;
  • Alumni, Board of Trustees and donor events;
  • Admitted and prospective student events including Wasp Welcome and registration days;
  • Leadership opportunities as part of Week of Welcome for new students in August.

Other reasons to be an Ampersand Ambassador:

Build Relationships

Ampersand Ambassadors will serve as hosts and campus liaisons to local and regional leaders, government officials, community partners, and alumni, as well as faculty, staff, and students of the College. These networking opportunities can help build relationships with others of similar passions and provide opportunities to pursue those passions in the future.

Experience the Company of Great Minds

Ampersand Ambassadors will be a community of student leaders exploring and engaged in projects. Not only will these student leaders be among others who can sharpen their Ampersand ideas, but will also be among peers who may inspire new passions and perspectives.
