Anti-Hate Initiative: #H8STINGS

Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Anti-Hate Rally 2022

In response to the recent hate crime on the Emory & Henry College main campus, the Emory & Henry College Office of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion has focused its efforts to create an Anti-Hate Campaign.

The recently created Campus Hate/Bias Response Team (CHBRT) will work closely with the Office of DEI in the event of an incident. The CHBRT will immediately assemble to provide a supportive voice to our community by offering appropriate programming and education where
everyone is welcome to join. If this is something you are interested in joining, please contact DEI Program Specialist Emily Bishop.

Additional resources such as confidential reporters on campus, counseling services, etc. can be found under the DEI home page on the ehc.edu website. On this page there will be resources for those who have witnessed hate/bias on campus or have been a victim of hate/bias.

If you have seen someone other than yourself experience hate/bias, heard hate/bias conversations, or have seen hate/bias vandalism anywhere on campus, file an incident report in the form located on this page.

If you have experienced hate/bias on campus, file a report online and/or come to the Office of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion to report an incident with Vice President Holloway and DEI Program Specialist Emily Bishop.

There will be an anonymous tip box for these incidents, including an option to name the person(s) involved.
