Keeping you healthy, active, and engaged on campus.
The Campus Recreation Program offers the students and employees of Emory & Henry College a comprehensive individual and team recreation experience.
Campus Recreation events are structured recreational and competitive sports, activities, and learning experiences for individuals in the Emory & Henry community. Competitions are held in league, tournament, one day, and special event format. Activities can be held weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, one day, and a special event. Previous athletic experience is not a prerequisite for participation.
The spirit of sportsmanship and cooperation is the main emphasis of Campus Recreation at Emory & Henry College. The Campus Recreation Program encourages the development of a positive attitude in accordance with this spirit. A desire for physical and mental activity, friendly competition and socialization are the mainstays for participation in these activities. Members of the Emory & Henry College community unite together to develop skills not only in physical activity, but to strengthen their self-confidence and develop holistic wellness.
The Emory & Henry Campus Recreation program will strive to provide the highest quality programs that combine competition and interaction. These components work toward our historic commitment to transform lives and to create positive social interactions within the college.
The Emory & Henry Campus Recreation program looks to provide opportunities for every student, and faculty and staff member, to engage in sport activities that are inclusive, relational, active, safe, and healthy.
