Emory & Henry senior Kat McCall’s hard work is paying off

Our Emory & Henry seniors are preparing to graduate and change the world. 

In May 2020, Kat McCall will graduate with her Masters of Education after completing the five-year program that allowed her to earn both her bachelor’s and master’s degree. 

“Emory & Henry has prepared me in many ways for post-graduation through experiences like internships and teaching placements,” says McCall. “I have learned how to effectively communicate with others and the importance of building relationships.”

During her five years at Emory & Henry, McCall has been the President of the Blue & Gold Ambassador Society, Treasurer of Blue Key, work study for E&H Admissions, Resident Advisor, a member of Delta Omicron Pi, a student instructor, a peer mentor, and an orientation leader. 

“Emory & Henry College faculty members are amazing,” says McCall. “There is always a professor who is more than willing to guide you. Dr. Rebecca Buchanan, Dr. Sandy Fredrick, Dr. Michael Puglisi, and Dr. Thomas Little, have all been powerful mentors for me during my time at E&H.”

After graduation, McCall hopes to find a position in public or higher education.
