Transfer & Transform: Carlos Beltran

Carlos Beltran transferred from Piedmont Virginia Community College to pursue a degree in Exercise Science.

Carlos appreciated the support and encouragement he received during his transition to Emory & Henry to ensure he was on the right path with the transfer of his classes.

“My transfer counselor helped me see all the good things Emory & Henry has to offer,” says Carlos.

Now a sophomore at Emory & Henry, Carlos is enjoying being part of the track team and exploring other ways to get involved on campus. After graduating with his bachelor’s degree, Carlos plans to go to school to become a Physical Therapist.

For students interested in transferring to Emory & Henry, Carlos recommends visiting campus. “Once you’re here, you get the feeling of community that comes from all around the campus.”
