Elevating Prestige

Student Spotlight: Lindsay Shaw
Posted December 01, 2022

Lindsay Shaw ’24 looks forward to the day when she, as an Emory & Henry alumna, attends events at a new equestrian facility, knowing that it has elevated an already highly-respected program to an even greater level of national prestige, bringing along with it greater opportunity for the College and its students.

“Being a part of the current equestrian team, I am very excited about the future of the new equestrian center, which is a part of the Connections Campaign,” said Lindsay, a junior from Newark, Del. “This new center will provide high-quality space for more horses and the students who work with them and who enjoy representing this College.”

An exercise science major with goals of becoming a registered dietitian, Shaw expresses great enthusiasm for the Connections Campaign and for all it does to advance student success. “This campaign has opened my eyes to the larger opportunities we can provide students, especially through the community of Emory & Henry alumni who are ready to support this campaign.”
