Zeke Workman is eager to change the world
Our Emory & Henry seniors are preparing to graduate and change the world.
Zeke Workman of Sumter, SC will receive bachelor’s degrees in economics, political science and Hispanic studies.
Workman will graduate with the class of 2023. In addition to his studies, he is a member of Calliopean Literary Society, Student Conduct Board and played on the soccer and tennis teams. He was the Student Government Association Secretary of Judicial Affairs, a resident advisor for housing and residence life and guitarist for FCA.
“My Emory & Henry experience has been filled with many wonderful memories of growing intellectually, evolving spiritually, and just recognizing that the art of learning can carry you as far as you allow it to,” Workman said. “During my undergraduate education at Emory & Henry, I have felt very supported and encouraged to pursue opportunities that were of my interest and that would challenge me intellectually. One of the best decisions that I made while in college was studying abroad for a semester in Spain. That experience was a life-changing one and I feel very fortunate and grateful for that opportunity because it allowed me to extend my learning experience outside of the traditional classroom.”
“Before entering law school in the fall of 2024, I will be studying for the LSAT and working as a waiter. During my gap year, I also plan to enroll in a language school in Italy to become proficient in Italian,” Workman said of his plans after graduation. He has an AVANT certification of working fluency in Spanish.
