Angelika W Pine
Angelika has been an occupational therapist for over 20 years, working primarily in Pediatrics. She obtained her initial degree in South Africa and came to the US in 1995, by way of the West Coast of Florida, where her initial experience was in Geriatrics. After the birth of her two children, she transitioned to Pediatrics, where she focused on school-based and outpatient settings. In 2006, Angelika moved to the Atlanta area where she began her own therapy company. More recently, Angelika’s interests have turned toward occupational justice and health disparity issues. While obtaining her doctorate in occupational therapy she began to volunteer her clinical skills in a program serving resettled refugees in Clarkston, GA., which deepened her interest in health promotion for all population groups.
Angelika is the Capstone Coordinator and a Clinical Assistant Professor in the OTD program.
