Carleigh Blaylock received a bachelor of social work degree from the King University Department of Social Work. While in college, Carleigh developed a passion for diversity, equity and inclusion work. Before coming to Emory & Henry, Carleigh worked at the Southwest Virginia 4-H Educational Center where she developed skills in planning, facilitating and developing programming. She is currently working on her Master’s of Community and Organizational Leadership at Emory & Henry College.
She enjoys supporting students as they pursue their education and making sure every student and Emory & Henry College is seen, supported, and celebrated. As a Student Success Coach, Carleigh helps students to connect with resources and create strategic plans to accomplish their personal and academic goals. When she is not working with the incredible students of Emory & Henry, she is spending time with her dog, hiking and riding horses.
