Sandy Coffee
Biology major Sandy Coffee is excited to share her research project: “Exploring CBD’s Impact on Stress Levels in Shelter Dogs”! Currently, Sandy is studying shelter animals at the Old Dominion Humane Society in Fredericksburg, VA. By tracking their activity and cortisol levels, she is investigating how CBD affects their stress physiology. Thanks to the support of the Virginia Foundation for Independent Colleges, this summer project is making a positive difference for our furry friends!
