Sharon Wright
Sharon Wiley Wright, an alumna of Emory & Henry College (’94), returned to the College in the Fall of 2014 to assist Chaplain at the time, Mary K. Briggs, in the Office of Spiritual Life. After receiving her Master of Divinity Degree from The Candler School of Theology at Emory University, she served as pastor for congregations in the Holston Conference for 13 years.
Sharon is serving as the College Chaplain and Co-Pastor with David Jackson for the Emory United Methodist Church. She also serves as adjunct faculty for the Religion Department.
Sharon enjoys working with college students, and is grateful to be a presence in the lives of students during their formative years.
