Spiritual Life Organizations
Finding a spiritual community in college is important. We have several types and styles of gatherings — some large and some small — because we know that spiritual interests and needs are as diverse as the students on campus.
Whether you come to college with a strong background in your faith tradition or are searching for spiritual meaning and purpose, you will soon find that you are not alone. Spiritual life groups offer support, encouragement, and a reminder that college life is not always about the next paper or exam.
Campus Christian Fellowship (CCF)
Fellowship of Christian Athletes
Fellowship of Christian Athletes meets on Sundays at 8:45pm in MS 102 and is open to everyone, athletes and non-athletes alike. The group is geared toward developing a community of students that encourage each other and grow together in their relationship with Christ while building lasting friendships. Small group Huddles are offered weekly.
Interfaith Prayer Room
The Interfaith Prayer room is located in the basement of Memorial Chapel in Room 103. (Use the side entrance nearest to Kelly Library and go down the steps.) It is available when the Chapel is open (8 AM - 11 PM). Individuals and groups may use this space for silence, prayer, meditation, reading, quiet discussion, etc. It is equipped with prayer rugs, meditation pillows, candles, religious symbols, religious texts, comfy chairs, a tea pot, an aromatherapy diffuser, and more.
The creation of this prayer and meditation room was made possible by a grant from the Interfaith Youth Core in 2017.
Women’s Bible Study
A Student-led Girls Bible Study started in Spring of 2022 as a way for young Christian female students to gather together to study the Word and engage in fellowship. Meeting time for Fall 2022 is currently unknown, but we look forward to meeting again sometime this fall to better our knowledge and relationship with God.
