Welcome to the Emory & Henry College School of Arts & Sciences! The Arts & Sciences have had a long history of vibrant academic curricula that train students for successful careers, continuing graduate education, and community service since the first days of the College in 1836. Constantly “increasing in excellence,” as our college motto states, the Arts & Sciences have evolved to combine first class pre-professional training with a humanistic core curriculum that develops citizenship and community service as essential corollaries to successful careers and lives.
Our award-winning faculty of accomplished teachers, scholars, and creative artists, along with our caring student success mentors and counselors, provide a network of support for each student from orientation to graduation. Whether your interests lie in athletics, the arts, outdoor recreation, or community service, you will find a home in the School of Arts & Sciences that values the education and nurturing of the whole person.
