Shelia Glenn

Adjunct Professor Physician Assistant

Shelia Glenn serves as adjunct faculty for the School of Health Sciences Physician Assistant program, teaching pharmacology.

She is immunization certified, and pharmaceutical compounding certified. She also serves as a preceptor for pharmacy students from the Appalachian College of Pharmacy.

Shelia completed her pre-pharmacy education at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN. Her education in pharmacy began at the University of Colorado at Boulder and was completed at The Medical College of Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. She was awarded her Bachelors of Science in Pharmacy and graduated as a member of Rho Chi honors society.

Professional Experience

Shelia Glenn’s professional career began at Smyth County Community Hospital where she was a staff pharmacist and eventually promoted to Assistant Director. Her next career experience was as a Pharmacy Manager at Revco/CVS pharmacy where she served in this position for seventeen years. Her most recent and current position is a Pharmacy Manager at Walgreens Drug in Marion, VA.
