Rachel Reimer

Rachel is in the Class of 2025 and pursuing a double major in Equine Studies & History. Rachel started working as a Global Ambassador in August 2023. Rachel is on the Equestrian Team and is also involved in Spiritual Life on campus.

Rachel’s love of travel started young with family camping trips to National Parks across the country. She expanded that love of travel to travel abroad in 2019 when she was selected to go on the Oklahoma Ambassadors of Music European Tour. They visited seven European countries (England, France, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria, Italy, and Germany) and performed concerts in five of those countries. Recently, Rachel participated in the E&H Emory Odyssey study abroad program to Greece in May 2023. This was a very educational experience, and it was fun to see and learn more about the places that are discussed in the myths and in the Bible.

Rachel loves going new places and experiencing the beauty and the history of them. One of her favorite things to do in new places is to imagine what it would have looked in its prime and how it would have been used in society. These experiences widen her understanding and perception of different societies and cultures.

Rachel is looking forward to helping other students have meaningful abroad experiences and learning more about the world in the process as well as working with international students at Emory and Henry.
