Emory & Henry Voted as a Top 30 Affordable College for Study Abroad
Great Value Colleges has ranked Emory & Henry #13 in the nation. The ranking highlights the faculty-led Emory Abroad courses that allow students to take an on-campus class around a topic related to one of the multitudes of locations offered in Africa, Europe, and Central or South America. At the end of the semester, the class travels overseas together for a two-week expedition.

Emory & Henry scored high marks for the opportunity it provides for students to travel to multiple countries in one go. Great Value Colleges spotlighted the Cross-Cultural Psychology trip that visits both the Czech Republic and Poland.

The college offers study abroad programs and exchanges for the semester and full year. For example, the Emory & Henry College Semester in Dublin, Ireland invites students to study Irish heritage and culture while enrolling in courses at Dublin City University and working 10-15 hours weekly in a community organization or business.
Although the abroad courses and accompanying adventure trips start under $2,000 with airfare, Emory & Henry makes studying abroad more affordable with three college-sponsored scholarships with awards ranging from $1,000 to $4,000.
Earlier this year, LendEDU ranked Emory & Henry College in the top 25 nationally for study abroad opportunities.
The college currently offers more than 100 study abroad programs in 45 countries.
The study abroad programs are part of a broader initiative to internationalize the campus and provide students with experiences that will enhance their education while creating global citizens.
Over the next two years, E&H faculty members will lead programs with study in Belize, Costa Rica, Cuba, Czech Republic, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Panama, Poland, Spain, Sweden, and Vietnam.
